A Powerful New Theory of Intelligence Dr. Henry Yeh has invented a powerful theory of intelligence, known as the total Intelligence (TQ) 一 TQ 二 SQ + IQ + EQ + CQ + XQ + PQ + GQ + Q = (SEXPICG) Q. The new idea shocked the world. Subsequently, he has given a lot of lectures and published these theories into various Co - Iections. In the past decade, Intelligence (IQ) was the sole benchmark to measure a person ' s future success rate . However, evidences show that it 15 unreliable to judge without considering other that...
Research on Postmodern Curriculum Part 2 5. Requirements of postmodern curriculum
Doll replaced traditional 3R Standard of curriculum (Reading, writing, arithmetic) with 4R Standard. 4R refers to richness, recursion, relation and rigor.; Richness refers to depth, level of meaning and multiple possibilities or multiple explanations of a curriculum; recursion means that there is no starting point or end point of a curriculum, and any conclusion of curriculum activity implies a new start; relation indicates internal...
Research on Postmodern Curriculum Part 1 Abstract:
This paper is trying to explore the postmodern curriculum to adapt the curriculum to the changing society and attempt to seek a kind of innovative curriculum in an open platform and background.
1. Introduction
1.1 Pinar, Reynolds, Slattery and Taubman1 have discussed upon poststructuralism, deconstructionism and postmodern orientation in (Understanding Curriculum, 2005) as important contemporary curriculums. Besides, they have repeatedly discussed the influence of postmodernity on...
Public Policy Group Support Systems Part 2 2. System Design
This -'Public Policy Making Group Support System, from a system and pragmatic perspective, is a modular design concept, integration the design process and illustrating of each hierarchy module.
(1)Modular Concept
This so-called module design is a top-down design method, whereby the system's functions are categorized. Initially, the system is divided into several major categories, then, these major categories are further divided into smaller modular functions, meticulously...
Public Policy Group Support Systems Part 1 1.Research Motives and Objectives
In the wake of a changing, international community, public policy has become a major topic of discussion for governments when considering present and future undertakings. The ever increasing complexity of public affairs, and rapid expansion in how a government functions, brings a diverse number of problems policy makers must face, and, through no lack of effort on their part, its not possible for them to take everything into consideration. In order to...
The Continuous Task Scheduling Problem: Formulations and a Constraints-Relaxation and Decomposition Approach ABSTRACT
We consider the problem of scheduling independent unit-execution-time tasks on unrelated processors, each having the work and rest time restrictions. The objective is to find a continuous schedule can complete all tasks with the shortest makespan. We provide one integer programming formulation for the continuous scheduling problem for at least one processor, formulation for at least one processor, and one for at most some processors working at each time period. We also relax the...
Some Cultural Diversity Issues in Management Within Small Minority Business Firms For the past several decades, it has been clearly established that a strong tie is closely associated with the issue of minority and managing small business and the accompanying diversity issues of the labor market. One of those issues as noted by Dr. Naichen" Chen. was that "we live and work here since it is the best location for cultural experiment and the best Moratory for humanities and social sciences. We are experimenting right here based on the virtues S compassion, mutual respect,...
Organization Learning And Learning Organization Part 4 4.3 What's the relationship between Strategy and Organizational Learning?
Or, as Mintzberg (1987) says: the key is not getting the right strategy but fostering strategic thinking. Or as Shell has leveraged the concept of Learning Organization in its credo "planning as learning" (de Geus 1988). Faced with dramatic changes and unpredictability in the world oil markets, Shell's planners realized a shift of their basic task: "We no longer saw our task as producing a documented view of the future...
Organization Learning And Learning Organization Part 3 3. Politics and vision
Here we need to note two key problem areas. First, there is a question of how Peter Senge applies systems theory. While he introduces all sorts of broader appreciations and attends to values his theory is not fully set in a political or moral framework. There is not a consideration of questions of social justice, democracy and exclusion. His approach largely operates at the level of organizational interests. This is would not be such a significant problem if there was...
Organization Learning and Learning Organization Part 2 2.1 Does IT Impose Any Constraints on Organizational Learning?
Huber (1991) notes that "it might be reasonable to conclude that more learning has occurred when more and more varied interpretations have been developed, because such development changes the range of the organization's potential behaviors..." (p.102). However, most extant information systems focus on the convergence of interpretation and are not geared for multiple interpretations Argyris (1977). Mason & Mitroff (1973), in their...
Organization Learning and Learning Organization Part 1 Abstract:
In this paper, we introduced the origin of learning organizations. Then, we discussed what a recognized learning organization is and analyzed the advantages and weaknesses of a learning organization from our own experience. We also compared organization learning and learning organization. After combining our own experience with the opinions from management experts, we brought out what it would be like if working in an ideal learning organization.

An Unreliable Supply Chain Model With Inspection, Reworking and Scrapping Abstract:
We present an operational assembly-oriented SCS with in process quality control policy using an open queuing network approach. A nonlinear profit-maximization formulation model is presented, and an enumerative algorithm to solve this problem is provided. For small scale, the approach can obtain efficient approximation solutions. But, for large problems, will need more computing time because of the increased number of alternative policies needed to be evaluated.
Key words:
Supply...
