This camera replaces the A470 in Canon's extensive line but the size has been reduced by 25% making it an excellent go anywhere camera. You have your choice of four colors to choose from: black, blue, silver or red. The DIGC III processor provides the highest quality images with exceptional color and the 4X Canon optical zoom makes flexible framing a cinch. There are four shooting modes on the A480. These are Auto, Scene, Program and Movie. To access them the user only has to press the "Menu" button and the "Camera and Setup" will appear.
