Strollers And Your Baby s Development

My baby loves seeing things. She loves the air on her face and going on trips around the block, to the mall, the park, honestly she once seemed really jovial about going to the Department of Motor Vehicles. She loves life and people and we take her as many places as we can. When you have a baby as smart, precocious and curious as mine you better have one of the best baby strollers around. You had better have a baby stroller that can take a licking and keep on rolling. Your baby deserves to have all the visual stimulation that taking trips all over the place offers. It will assure a more well rounded and intellectually curious child (not to mention grown up) in later life. That is the kind of parenting they don't teach you in books. Get your kid out in the world and they learn.

Kids need to be stimulated. Television does not cut it! While I have not banned television for my baby completely, I do make sure she watches only a bit and never in a habitual way. Instead, during the day she and I will check out all of the wonderful experiences waiting to be had in our beautiful neighborhood. She waves to everyone and we have pleasant chats with friends and acquaintances. We make friends with other Mother-baby combinations at the park. She is going to be excellently socialized when she grows up. In a way it is thanks to my understanding that babies need more than just basic nurturing, they need their brains nurtured as well. In another way you could thank the amazing lightweight strollers I was able to choose from when picking out her stroller. The one we got allows me to take her wherever we need to go with a very minimal amount of fuss.

Fuss of course is the enemy of progress in parenting. Whether it is coming from you, or your beautiful little person, getting fussy can make the whole thing less fun. You can luckily do things to limit your own fussiness. A lightweight stroller is a great first step. Rather than struggling with a stroller twice your size now you can just pick it up and go when you need to. It is a great investment in your baby's future. My little girl loves being around so many wonderful things. And I get to be happy about what a fantastic life I am building for her. Feeling like a good Mom is definitely my new favorite feeling!
