Money. The backbone of our society. We spend most of our time making it, and the rest of our time trying to find ways to enjoy it. In the middle, we have to get that money from point A to point B. While we live in a world of electronic deposits, debit and credit cards and automatic bill pay, most of us still have a checkbook. Paper checks are just as necessary now as they've ever been. And while we may not use checks as often as we used to, we still find them to be an indispensable way to handle money. How can we keep those checks from being damaged while we carry them around in our day to day lives?
When we get our checks from the bank, they generally come with a little vinyl protector, and while those are adequate to protect the checks, they are barely adequate. And now that we don't use checks as often as we used to, many times we wear out the vinyl protector before we even use up a book of checks. Let's face it - the reason we buy leather coats and handbags, spend extra to have it in our vehicles and furniture is not only the look, but the fact that it lasts forever. Those are purchases we make once in a great while, so why shouldn't we make that same level of investment in something we'll carry and use every day?
We won't be able to do without checks for years to come. With the flexibility of many of the leather checkbook "systems" available, even when we do manage to convert totally to plastic, the ability to have all the conveniences of a quality checkbook cover, one that will help us keep track of our expenditures and credit/debit cards will outlast the checks by decades. So invest a few extra dollars and get a leather checkbook cover that will enhance your ability to take care of your needs for years to come.
