What Type of Commercial Ovens Fit Your Facility



Many types of commercial ovens are available to fit the needs of any type of restaurant, sports bar or country club restaurant. Here is a quick run through of many different types of ovens that could make you more profitable:

Multifunction ovens or a combination oven facilitates the choice of different techniques of cooking. You can choose from conventional cooking, grilling or fan assisted cooking in combinations or individually, as you would prefer.

Another popular commercial oven is the Range Oven which is packed with useful features. It normally has two ovens and a separate grill. Choose a range with a conventional oven and the other a fan assisted oven or convectional oven. This will let you choose from a wide range of temperatures at the same time. You can easily roast, bake and grill at the same time.

Conveyor Ovens are popular commercial ovens used in pizzerias and for hot sandwiches.

Broiler compartment is normally located in the lower part of the commercial oven. It is used to cook tender cuts of poultry, fish, ham or other meats. Upright broilers are also available.

It is a great option for casseroles as they need to be cooked slowly. Like other ovens heated by fire the brick oven is first heated and then cooled to maintain an even temperature inside them. The only drawback is that anything cooked in it takes a long time to cook.

The Dutch Oven is a highly versatile commercial oven. It can be used both indoors and outdoors. The ones used indoors have a flat base to facilitate use on your cook tops. They are usually made of aluminum or cast iron. The ovens have three legs and can be used on open fire. You can roast, stew, fry, steam and even bake in them.

The Convectional Oven or Fan Forced Oven is a highly efficient commercial oven. It works by rotating the hot air inside with the help of a fan which is enclosed separately. This ensures that the food is cooked evenly and faster. It saves up to 35% on electricity bills as compared to the conventional oven.

The Commercial Microwave Oven is now quite popular with concession stands and snack bars. It is not only convenient to use but cooks much faster than the other ovens. Most commercial microwave ovens can be preprogrammed for up to a hundred different recipes. Their ease of use is making them popular across the spectrum of commercial users.

The Cook and Hold is another option available for commercial kitchens and fast food restaurants. You can cook food in this oven and can leave it in the oven to be kept warm for periods as long as twenty four hours. The range of these ovens extends from over the top counter models to large floor models.
