Get Rid Of The Lumpy Butt





How often do you think back to when you were a little skinnier and wonder what the heck happened and how you got the cottage cheese butt or the flabby stomach? That is a continuous mind game amongst a lot of people nowadays and it makes them really discouraged because they see there past college pictures of a time when they ate everything and stayed skinny but now they keep getting bigger. Now when you just look at food it feels like your putting on the pounds and getting those thunder thighs. How do we regain the body we once had?

One of the things that could be happening to your body is your metabolism could be slowing down. As we age sometimes our metabolism slows because we begin to lose muscle. If you want to ramp up that metabolism again it is important that you do some muscle building exercises that will allow you to build lean muscle. If you are a woman that is afraid of "bulking up" you shouldn't feel like this. Women were not made to bulk up. As a woman you are not going to bulk up but you will get lean muscle. Men would have to lift some serious weights to bulk up as well.

The more active you make your life the better it is going to be. If you continue to be a couch potato and work out occasionally you are not going to see the results that you want. It is not uncommon for people to think that they can work out for 30 minutes 3 times a week and get the awesome figure that they see on shape magazine. This simply is not going to work. You need to start thinking in terms of activities that you enjoy. Maybe you like basketball or tennis. You should start to look into playing those more. Find out what kind of things that you like to do when it comes to activities and go for it.

Portion size is very important as well. Even if you are eating clean you need to look at how much you are putting into your body. You can't give your body too much fuel and then expect to come out looking thin and trim. Whatever you do it is important that you watch the portions that you put onto your plate. You can make it easier for yourself by getting a smaller, dark plate. You will be able to trick your body into thinking that you ate more than you really did.
