Batman Arkham Asylum Review

In 2009 the British Rocksteady Studios have won over the owners of PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC with a title half way between tradition and
innovation, with the famous title Batman: Arkham Asylum. Pertaining to tradition in the main character, the Batman appeared for the first time in video games in 1986 and since then it has also populated on gaming platforms, as well as in comic books, television and films. Innovation in the atmosphere and gameplay of the game, which has exposed the dark side of Batman, did just as in the films of Christhoper Nolan.

Manufactured by Eidos Interactive, the game is based on an original screenplay by the award-winning writers of the animated series and comics of
Batman, Paul Dini, who has impressed all the way to the dark atmosphere of the registers of the Dark Knight targati DC Comics. In the role of
vigilante of Gotham City, the player must accompany the dangerous Joker to the infamous Arkham Asylum. But things are not always so simple
(!?!): at the same time, in fact, the craziest criminals of Gotham City will take possession of the psychiatric hospital, and as always it is to Batman who settles the matter.

The game modes are available mainly in two: on the one hand, the fight sequences, in which the protagonist must face opponents in a variety of arenas, while the bars of the Joker (voiced by the Batman cartoon, and the Luke Skywalker of the first trilogy of Star Wars, Mark Hamill) rumble in the speakers scattered around. The other sections 'stealth', in which Batman must use every hiding to surprise enemies silently behind him. Batman: Arkham Asylum is thus shown to be a title very ATTRACTIVE from all points of view (gameplay, graphics, narrative) for bat and not just fans of Man, and that gives a touch of originality to the Batman video game, maintained and strengthened its direct sequel, Batman: Arkham City.

To summarize:

Pros
1. Perfect balance between the game mode 'stealth' and the fight sequences;
2. Atmosphere and visual style of great impact;
3. History intense, deep and fascinating characters, the first of the Joker, almost eerie as the prematurely deceased Heath Ledger.

Cons
1. Some imperceptible flaw in the graphics performance of the guards and the animation of Batman.

The must awaited sequel of the series Batman: Arkham City is slated to be released on October 18, 2011.
