Online Lead Generation You MUST have A List but Why





Why you need your own list

I wish there was some way that I could just push a button and you could fully understand how VITAL it is for you to build your own list of prospects that have sought you out.

I say this as an expression of my own short sightedness about my list when I first started my online business.
Every time I would hear or read some teacher talk about having a list, I knew what they were saying was true.
Mike Dillard goes into great detail about this subject in his book, Magnetic Sponsoring.
However, it turned out to be something I had to experience before I truly understood it. One of the reasons, I believe, it was difficult for me was the fact that I didn’t have my own list.
Is it possible to fully understand the incredible security that comes from a list of names that grows daily?

It wasn’t until I got hit by a truck and my daughter’s life was saved by a wearing a seat belt that I really understood how important the irritating act of wearing one really was. Then, all of the sudden I really understood its importance.

When I started I thought lists were made by list companies to be purchased and used, and so that was the way I began.


I thought about contact lists this way simply because that was all I knew. I knew I needed to be in contact with enough people in order to find the one’s that would be interested in either my company or my company’s products.

I would put these purchased lists into action, and I never saw the results I was hoping for. These people rarely answered and when they did answer, they sure didn’t know they were getting a call from me. It didn't seem to matter how wonderful the list sounded before I bought, I lost time and money with each attempt. When I expressed my frustrations the only recourse I was given was to keep doing it until I figured it out.

Now it seems so strange to me that I actually used to think that leads came from a source other than my own sources.

I’m glad that I finely learned how wrong I was.

My list now is made up of people who have come to me because they like what they learning either by the written word or through videos and want to know more about me or my business. This will happen for you also if you are willing to devote a little time and effort.
I’m not in a rush anymore, because everyday more and more people are opting into my list indicating either they want more information or asking me to give them a call.
It wasn’t that long ago that it was a total mystery to me and my first few attempts fell flat. When I finely found someone who could show me what to do and how to do it, it was just a matter of putting what I learned into action. Now my list grows by at least 10 to 20 people every day without using PPC (pay per click.) It doesn’t take long to learn how to do it, that’s the beauty of this.
Please understand, your list equates to people browsing to see if what you have to offer is what they are looking for. Once you have positioned yourself to be in a place where you have what people are looking for, your list begins to grow and grow and grow. You should have more and more people that want to have more information from you. As you deliver the info they are looking for and the tools to use through your affiliate programs the commissions begin to support your efforts.

I hope this has helped you understand the importance of having your own list. Every sigle online lead generation strategy that you are using should be designed to grow your list.
You really can’t afford to not get this concept.

Your business livelihood is totally dependent upon your list and the connection you build with them.

People are hungry for someone they can trust to guide them in the rght direction onlin.
