Will 5Linx be around for another 9 years





The network marketing business model has made 5Linx a very successful company in the telecommunications industry. Over the past 9 years 5Linx has been accredited in quite a few different success magazines. 5Linx started off in 2001 as a reseller for other telecommunications companies, and now has become it's very own service carrier. It is because of the success 5Linx achieved that it has been able to create it's very own services.

5Linx offers a variety of consumer products ranging from cell phone service and satellite tv service, to their own home security service as well. The primary product is a VoIP service that has propelled 5Linx to becoming the number 2 VoIP provider on the top 100 list. Let me explain what VoIP is for those of you that don't know. VoIP is a home phone that runs through the internet. Let's move onto my personal review of 5Linx now that I've gone through a brief explanation of the company itself.

They've been around for almost 10 years, which in the telecom industry is a hard thing to do for smaller companies. I know, I was involved awhile back in Excel, and they went belly up after a few years due to competitive product pricing. 5Linx seems to have found ways to change with the times and stay competitive enough to stick around. If this company can continue to hang on in this $400 Billion a year industry, their growth could be phenomenal. Getting customers to join 5Linx should be easy since everone uses these services and products daily.

The products that 5Linx offers also puts them at a disadvantage, because they are in an extremely competetive business. Technology services and products are usually high priced for a short period of time until many different companies learn how to build the same product or offer the same service at a cheaper rate. VoIP being their main product brings me to the fact that home phone service is a thing of the past. I personally know a lot of people that are no longer using a home phone because they only need to use their cell phone. Is 5Linx going to be able to stay competitive enough with the other services that they offer once home phone service is no longer used?

Marketing training is the main thing that 5Linx doesn't have. Friends and family are an easy way for you to sell some services and products to reach your 20 personal points, but when it comes to finding team members friends and family are definitely not an easy sell. Anyone who's tried MLM for any period of time knows that going after family, friends, and then complete strangers on the street is absolutely no way to build a lucrative 5Linx business. You should also know that the residual commissions that you will earn in 5Linx will come from having a massive downline. You will need to be generating 50 plus leads per day to be able to build a big enough team of distributors to create those monthly residuals. This will absolutely not be done through family and friends and other various offline marketing methods.

5Linx has proven to be a solid company over the past 9 years through their yearly growth patterns and numerous acknowledgments in various business magazines. Everyone already uses the same products and services that 5Linx offers. This fact alone will make 5Linx a business opportunity for anyone looking to make some money. I'm not personally involved in 5Linx, however I do feel it is a reputable company. However I also feel that 5Linx should bring their marketing into the current times. The fact that 5Linx hasn't taken their marketing to the internet the way other companies have would be a huge opportunity for any independent representative that chooses to do so on their own.
