The virtumonde virus (also known as the Vundo Trojan virus) has been around for over 4 years yet it still remains one of the most damaging computer bugs. It has a remarkable ability to evade detection and prevent removal and it has defeated many of the Anti-Spyware, Anti-Malware and Anti-Virus programs made available by some of the top companies in this field.
It can however be safely removed from your computer but it will probably mean using a number of tools and a specific virtumonde removal procedure. Once removed it can also be prevented from re-occurring again by using counter prevention techniques and software.
My own computer was recently infected with the virtumonde dll virus even though I had one of the top (so I thought) protection systems in place. It wreaked havoc with the operating systems and rendered it pretty much useless. I was spending all my time closing down pop-ups, shutting down processes and re-booting my PC than anything else. At the end of the day I ended up using 3 programs - Malwarebytes, SuperAntiSpyware and VundoFix together with a specific method recommended by a computer technical expert and it did the trick. It took a long time to work through each stage but the end result meant complete virtumonde removal, solid protection and a faster running PC.
