Anyway what prompted me to write about this is we have weekly webinars in the faction that I fit in to and this happens to be the topic on this weeks webinar. I became enormously excited as I remember how much of an influence this little book had on my life the first time around. There's furthermore something that's a shocker about what we're doing and I'm not sure how the guys actually pulled it off, but you will just have to read on to discover everything. This covers habits. Habits are performance patterns that occur unconsciously. You don't even have to think about what your doing, it just comes spontaneously. If your similar to me then you perhaps have established some deficient habits and I don't know about you, but I would sure like them to go absent and on no account appear yet again, and at the same time I'm thankful for noticing my limited habits, as they just plainly show me exactly what I don't desire, which in turn lets me see what I do desire. I think this is partly the trick, just easily recognizing destructive covert habits and then consistently changing them into 7 habits of highly effective people. I'm going to go ahead and provide you the habits right here and right now. habit one is, be proactive. The principals of individual choice. Some people don't even become conscious they have a choice in everything. They have become resembling robots. Habit one lets you be conscious of what you are doing and the choices you create. Habit two is to begin with the end in mind. This way when you form a choice you understand what the outcome looks like. Habit three is to put first things first. Establish integrity with yourself and perform on what matters. Look if it doesn't matter to you, why execute on it? Habit four is to think win/win. Let's face it, win lose scenario's never work out for anyone involved. Habit five is understand first, then be understood, a communication requirement. I've even walked around sometimes in a haze wondering why no one understands me, when it is simply the truth that I don't listen in the beginning of understand whatever it is someone else is communicating first. You must get inside another's world to effectively communicate. Habit six is synergy. Creative cooperation and continual improvement. Just think how much easier living is when you have every person cooperating with you. You recognize it is easier to cut with the grain of the wood instead of against it, or put another way, quit swimming against the current. Habit seven is to sharpen the saw, balanced self renewal. You must take care of yourself and re-create yourself on a continual basis. There is also an eighth habit that I will not be going into today. I trust that this information has proven useful and you get some value out of it. My dream would be that someone has read this article and it altered their soul, that they made a decision right here to be highly effective and integrate the habits in their life. I will leave you with this. Habits take practice, practice and more practice, and it is always safe to have some kind of accountability partner while your up to something colossal like this.
