The Usana Products Obviously one important piece of information you need to know about a company before you join is to know what kind of products they offer to the marketplace and whether or not you can stand behind them 100%. Usana is a company in the health and wellness field as has a couple different product lines. Usana's vitamin line has been a solid staple in their business. One of the major problems we face as American's is obesity and regaining our overall health, so I can understand how this product has continued to sell well. From my reading and research they have brought on board some top experts to continue to do testing and research to improve their products. The second category deals with a Diet and Energy line. I'm pretty sure you get the picture as to how these products help people. The last line that Usana produces is in Personal Care, which is designed more for the women. This product line has many different creams, lotions and the like all to fight the effects of aging, like wrinkles and other skin issues. Since Usana has been around for many years, they actually opened for business in 1992, they have performed very well, which leads me to believe their products are produced with quality in mind. But have you stopped to think about how saturated the market might be if they've been around that long and have many distributors? Let's take a look at that in the next section. The Usana Business Opportunity You must be on the edge of your seat now that I've told you some awesome things about Usana. Well, not so fast. You might need to do a little more research. The availablity of the market is an important thing to consider, for sure. Since Usana is in the health and wellness area I would have to say that quite honestly it is not very open at all. Actually the number of network marketing companies in this area is the largest of any of the market sectors, which means lots of competition. Another area that I really look at is where they are on the typical "S" curve business model of growth. With the age of the comany, they are more in what we call the "Stabilization" phase.. This means that the company has already gone through its exponential growth and is now and probably always will be in linear growth. Now there is nothing wrong with that but I personally like to get on board right when company is getting ready to peak, not after. What Do You Need to Know? The most important thing that you can learn as a network marketer is how to market. Many people fail because the only aspect of their business they work on is the "networking" part. It is also very wise to work on the marketing part as well. The reason I share this is because your success relies on one thing, to constantly be sponsoring more and more people into your business. Incredible things will happen if you learn to apply some simple skill sets to learning how to market. I've learned how to apply one simple strategy to get my content ranked on the first page of Google and stay there. The part about this that I love the most is that it doesn't cost a dime and brings me new people each and every month that I then sponsor into my business.
