Ive thought so many times in life that Ambition was one of those bad word
that to desire more than I have was something wrong. I think for me and probably you too it's the idea that you have to "run over" all the people in your way to get to your goal.
I've researched this, read up on the topic, listened to top business leaders and that kind of thinking has to be removed from our brain. I've got a young son and daughter and when I look at their lives, they are very ambitious. You know what I'm talking about if you have kids, right? They're going to get what they want.
If you've ever heard of Jim Rohn, which most in network marketing have, then you really should pick and read his book "The Power of Ambition." It's fantastic. One big misunderstanding that is mentioned is the belief that Humility means Weakness. Nothing could be further from the truth. I truly believe you and I were put here to not only exist but to take this world to new heights. If you take this world by storm from the standpoint of doing it to better yourself and everyone around you and not simply from the trying to exist, great things will happen.
So how can we use this build our Network Marketing Businesses?
To begin you would never have joined or thought about joining an MLM opportunity if you didnt have some sort of ambition. Honestly the reason we all to anything at all is because of ambition. I personally wouldnt get out of bed in the morning except that I believe and have a personal mission each and everyday to leave this world better than I found it.
Personally that is the very reason that I'm a part of an MLM opportunity. I know that I can help others achieve their dreams in creating financial success in their lives, if of course they want it. It's all up to the individual...there is not one thing I can do to create the "want" to succeed, that has to come from within.
One of the most successful people in this industry once told me, "The reason I am earning this kind of money (which I might add was well over 7 figures) is because I am willing each and everyday to do the things that everyone else won't do". That my friend is the Power of Ambition. Harnessing the action each and everyday to make a difference in your life and the lives of others on your team.
