In network marketing you want to find yourself on the phone with leads, then sending e-mails, videos, links and following up again at a later time (otherwise known as "networking"). After that you follow up again to to check if the videos had been watched, sites visited and so on. Follow up again, and again and again...It's a numbers game you must play! It takes a lot of drive to get back on the phone each day and do the numbers again. Is this familiar to your daily routine? It sure was for me too... Then you have to deal with how many of the people you follow up with that sign up with . How many of these are real go getters who actually do something significant and turn into MLM leaders? If you feel like you're watsing time, ask yourself these questions: 1. Are the leads you're getting genuinely adequate and qualified prospects? A good lead is one with a genuine interest in network marketing, not simply joining you in your mlm due to your salesmanship making them unable to say no to you. 2. Where are you getting your leads from and how many of those are qualified? I mean, are you marketing to the general public who have no knowledge of network marketing? Or are you marketing to existing network marketers who are capable of the necessary work? 3. How can I further qualify my leads? If you're calling, sending, following up, re-sending, following up again and generally busting your butt to get leads converted - who will become poor to mediocre MLM business owneres at best - you are wasting time. The idea is to get motivated, qualified leads that are ready to jump in and take off running. If you have to sell them on the idea of joining, you'll have to regularly re-sell them into action to actually do anything (until they give up, which fortunately for you will be within about 90 days). The solution? Pre-qualify before you let themtalk to you. Pre-qualifying a lead involves getting plenty into your sales funnel, and giving them several steps to go through. You've perhaps already noticed some examples... using confirmation e-mails where a lead must confirm they are after your information, and they must answer their e-mail, click on the acceptance link and return to the site. Added steps! It could be providing site links and stating that they must visit the sites, watch the videos, and contact you back directly... that you are not interested in talking with them until they do what you ask them to do. Or, your opt-in page copy might be changed to read something like Please do not fill out this form if you do not have at least $1500 to invest into your business. If you're generating more leads than you can reasonably work with, its only logical that you would want more qualifiers so that the people you speak with are much more READY to join. Make a game out of it. Test out different ways of attracting out only the most committed and interested. Dont be afraid to actually make it harder for them to get on the list, as long as the copy you use to do that (or the hoop you make them jump through) is likely to attract better quality people, which means people showing a greater willingness to be coachable, and take action, and who dont mind being challenged. The way you model this will differ in the details, but ultimately, you can apply this to any offline and/or online marketing funnel. The only other option is to create bruises on your head from banging it against the wall out of frustration for continuing to do what you're already doing.
