How to Promote MLM and Keed All Your Friends





When you use traditional methods to promote mlm many times you run the risk of loosing your friends and family. Many companies today still hold fast to the traditional way of promoting your business which is to make a list of one hundred people you come in contact with and tell them about your business. This is actually called pitching. This still works for some people but for most mlm owners its how they loose their friends and family.


Consider what would eventually happen if each time you saw your friends you tried to convince them of you business opportunity, most likely they'd want to spend less and less time around you.

When you promote mlm this way you will, in time run out of leads and if you don't know how to generate your own leads you will either purchase leads or trying your hand on the 3 foot rule, or you'll go on the internet. Calling cold purchased leads rarely gets you favorable results especially is you are not a pro at selling. A lot of those leads will not be the nicest people to talk to and if you are new to the game of mlm it could cause you to lose your enthusiasm with is very important for success.

The three foot rule is very tricky to master and most mlm business owners fail miserably at it because they either try to pitch their business opportunity or are to afraid to start a conversation with a stranger.

Promoting mlm using the Internet is extremely powerful, if you know how to go about it, you will never have to pitch your friends again. It doesn't matter if your marketing budget is large or none existent you still can market mlm just in different ways. If you are working with a large marketing budget you can use paid marketing strategy like list builder, pay per click (PPC), and Ezine solo ads are some examples. You can even outsource all this if you don't have the time to learn or don't want to do this by yourself. If you are not a good at prospecting you can be losing money if you don't convert those leads you paid for into joining your opportunity.

Now if you are not lucky enough to have a large marketing budget you will have to use free marketing methods. Here are some ideas for marketing on a budget:

- Facebook
- Twitter
- Myspace
- Blogs
- Forums
- Articles
- List builders

All these are fantastic ways of generating leads for your business, that is, if done correctly or they could be a waist of time and the little money you do have. In order to make these strategies as effective as possible you need to realize that the purpose of using these if for branding yourself as leader. That's where most mlm owners go wrong when marketing using these strategies. The are failing to brand themselves and as a result are not having a successful time promoting their mlm. Most network marketers do not have a system that they can market their own marketing style and attracting prospects to them.

People out there are not really looking for a business they are looking for someone to help them get their dreams and by promoting yourself as someone who can help and can plug them into a simple system to do the same.

Promoting yourself and offering a system of marketing that will teach anyone how to create success for themselves, that is how you will keep your friends and gain prospects for your business. Stop promoting mlm and start promoting yourself as a mentor and prospects will start chasing you because you developed trust as someone who can show them to reach their financial goals.
