With an assortment of rock, pop, hip hop and acoustic artists, a circus, orchestras, and inspirational street entertainment, the festival provides some of the best local, national and international artists from various genres, and comedy acts that will have you laughing for weeks to come.
The annual Coventry Caribbean Festival began as a gathering of friends in 1991 and was attended by 200 people. Growing more popular over the following years, it is now an event enjoyed by a broad cross-section of people and a major feature of the summer calendar impatiently anticipated by everyone. Held at the War Memorial Park in late July you can have a fun day out with the family joining in various activities, listening to live music and dance, watching football and netball tournaments, and browsing the cultural stalls.
